Late Work Policy-
Assignments-
Look at the weekly calendar or consult AERIES or a fellow student to find out missed assignments. Turn in late assignments into the late work box. You will be given less then full credit for the late assignments (generally ½ credit).
If late assignments were turned into Google Classroom, please write a note listing the assignments you've competed on Google Classroom and put that note in the late work box.
Dates by which late work is due will be announced in class, but I generally accept late work at any time from any time in the school year. Late work will be graded before the next deficiency or progress report. If you wish to have your late work put in earlier than that, you must see me at before or after school, find the work in the late work pile, and give it to me for submission into the grade book within 24 hours.
If you are turning in an assignment late due to an excused absence, put absent and the date you were absent on the assignment before you turn it in to the late work pile and I will give you full credit for the assignment if the absence is excused.
Tests-
Look at the weekly calendar or consult AERIES or a fellow student to find out missed tests. Tests must be made up at lunch and will be given full credit given an excused absence. Taking out a cell phone/cheat sheet during a makeup test at lunch will result in an immediate zero on the test. You may make up any missing test at any time in the school year, but please make up any missing tests within two weeks of the test to maximize your score.
You may retake tests in all classes. The maximum score you can get on a test retake is 60%. Tests will be graded before the next deficiency or progress report. If you wish to have your test put in earlier than that, you must see me before school find the test in the late work pile, and give it to me for submission into the grade book within 24 hours. You can retake tests as many times as you want.
